So I actually wanted to post here every day, but we see how well that worked out. I have committment issues. Ha.

Anyways, I’ve suddenly discovered I’ve got a crapload of things on my plate, and I can’t eat any of it. I’ve got AP English homework I’ve sort of started, if reading about a third of the first book counts. I’ve got a Senior Project with just about everything to do left to actually do. And I’ve got to figure out how to convince my mother that I need to live in a dorm at PTI. Why my mother? Because she doesn’t suck.

I really can’t stand all the family crap here. Lately, everyone has been on such a short fuse and I’m so sick of sitting by and letting it go. Funny how it became noticeable over vacation, the time where you’re supposed to be relaxed and happy. Funny. And it’s always over stupid things, always. I can’t live at home any longer than I need to, and besides – living in a dorm my first year of college would be a good experience.

Or so I’ve been told by others.

But that’s not the point. I need to at least try. I really don’t want to live here longer than necessary. Yes, I love my family, but I can’t take it anymore. Eff.

At least I’ve got a meeting with a financial aid advisor from PTI on Wednesday. I hope that all goes well and my mom’s all enthused because we can afford everything.

But anyways… I can’t really say that I’m any the wiser xD I’m just a teenager person dood thing, and that’s about it. That will BE just about it for at least two more years. At least. I’m not holding my breath, though, ‘cos I don’t feel any different. Just older. But isn’t that supposed to be some old man/woman’s line? “Oh, no, I’m not older, I just FEEL older”

Ho hum. I’m not an old woman. Not yet. Thank god, too, ‘cos most of the ones I know find things to obsess over, and it’s kinda irksome.

Anyways, nothing much is happening today. I’m seventeen and I’m going to see Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs with my brother.

Nah. It’s not from that album. Their other one – All That We Needed or summat – but this was the one that was bigger. And, I have to admit, it looks rather spiffy. Don’t you think? (Oh, and if you have no idea what the heck I’m talking about, since I rarely ever make sense, it’s a song of theirs. Just without the ‘Another’. *nod*) Good band, though. Especially when you’re driving in your car with just about nothing to worry about when you have to go and drop off your dogs at the kennel. Yeah, that was fun. So very much fun. I should drive just for the hell of it one day, and probably would if gas didn’t cost a small fortune itself. Wth.

So nothing is happening today. I’ve been sitting at home – just like any other day, woohoo! [/sarcasm] – on my computer, poking around for something to do. Found something, too, else I wouldn’t be here on WordPress. Yeah. Though I will admit this is a bit similar to LJ in terms of blogging a bit. Feh. Never said I made any amount of sense. Then again, most people don’t. They’re full of contradictions, but that’s what makes us human. And not perfect. Thank GOD.

Tomorrow’s my birthday! I’ll finally be seventeen and, let me tell you, I’m effing happy. Just one more year after that and I’ll legally be an adult and off to college. That’s a scary prospect all on its own, actually. I’ll be a senior in high school come this fall, and I’ll be applying to colleges. Holy crap, where did all the time go? How’d I become a senior? When did it happen? afakd;fj. Yes. afakd;fj. And yes, I had to look back and make sure I typed the exact same thing. Copy and paste would have been too much work. :3
